The weekend disappeared quickly. I seem to have slept through a lot of it. Must be a head cold I have been trying to shake before it takes hold.

For the last three nights, we ate asparagus with dinner. It's one of our favorites, too.
When you make brussel sprouts, do you bake them? We get them fresh from the farmers market and bake them with olive oil and garlic... simple and tastes great!
Other fav. veggie: artichoke. We just planted two plants in the yard last week.
Baked brussel sprouts? But it's green!!! I'll give it a go. I still like them to still have texture.
Artichokes are too expensive here and I can't think of much to do with them, apart from simmering in water with some lemon juice.
Here's the recipe we used:

We add garlic. It's by far my favorite way to eat brussel sprouts!
Artichokes probably have to be imported? We buy baby artichokes and steam them to the point you can eat them whole in salads and pastas. YUM.
Trying again on that Web address..
