Italian senators want ice cream. As reported in La Repubblica.

Italian senators Rocco Buttiglione and Albertina Soliani sent a letter to Senate building's administrators which said
In a nutshell, "The cafeteria is not supplied with ice cream. We think it would be useful if it were and we are certain that it can be interpreted as the desire of many."

You'd think being Italian, that they would ask for gelato instead.

I was home yesterday (Monday) as it was a public holiday. We still celebrate the Queen's Birthday and in Canberra, fireworks are still sold.

Today, I went back to work. I could have done with another few days off work. Ho hum.

Hi Daniel,
Did you buy any fireworks? Have a big party for the queen???

I don't know if you have seen, but I've suspended the Morning Scratch temporarily. We are having major problems with our house. Bogdan says he's sick of this place here, and he's flying to your place. I think he finally got his passport.

Fireworks are silly. The RSPCA here said that over 50 dogs were taken to them after being spooked and getting lost.

Woohoo! Bogdan can stay here. I hope he's cuddly and likes being brushed.
